There are 39 Pro Mod races on the calendar and almost all of them are trying to get bigger. In 2027, as it moves to Texas Motorplex as a standalone event, the World Series of Pro Mod is going the other way.

In February 2017, Drag Illustrated announced a Pro Mod race that paid $100,000 to the winner and nothing to anyone else. No qualifying. No scoreboards. Invitation only. Ten years and seven champions later, here is how it happened.

Drag Illustrated is taking the World Series of Pro Mod to Texas. The biggest, richest Pro Mod race in the history of the known universe runs March 5-7, 2027 at the historic Texas Motorplex in Ennis.
